摘要

In order to investigate the rules of large length-diameter ratio shell charge explosion and damage in concretes, the experiment was designed on the bases of dimensional analysis. The experimented results show with the buried depth increasing, the crater volume first increases and then decreases, and has a maximum value at a certain buried depth, which is called as optimal buried depth. So penetrating warhead has a optimal penetration depth to make the damage effect optimal. The engineering formula between crater volume and buried depth was got by fitting the experimental data, which quantificationally reflects the rules of buried depth influence on damage effect to some extent and lays a foundation for further theoretical analysis. On the one hand, shell plays an important role to detonation reflecting, assembling, enhancing, and further enlarging the effect of explosion and damage; on the other hand, shell fracturing and flying also consumes a part of explosive energy, which weakens the damage power. The last influence of shell on damage effect depends on the compared result between the above two aspects.
