title = "Experiment and numerical simulation of dynamic fracture in pure copper",
abstract = "The one-dimension and two-dimension spallation damage in ductile material as pure copper has been studied. Spallation experiments are performed successfully, by the way of light-gas gun driving plane flyer or cone-shaped flyer to impact pure copper target in order to produce one-dimension or two-dimension spallation damage. The stress signals are recorded by manganin piezoresistance gauge. By using LS-DYNA2D the dynamic responses of pure copper under high strain rate situation are simulated on considering work-hardening and rate-dependent contribution. Numeric simulations have achieved good results compare with the experiments.",
