Electric field testing integration microsystem for the near field target detection

摘要

The electric field testing integration microsystem (EFTIM) for near field target detection was designed to apply to the security system, based on the theory of electrostatic field. The theory of the capacitance was expounded and the different types of capacitance were theoretically analyzed in this paper. Compared with the inter-digitized electrode layout, the spiral one was chosen because of its better performance. Considering the effect of dielectric constant, the experiment was carried out when the medium between the electrodes was in the air and water. When the targets approach the electrodes, the parameters of electric field are affected, resulting in the change of the E-field system output voltage, which proves the feasibility of the electric field testing system for near field target detection in the air and water.
