N2 - The leg arrangement mode has impacts on several mechanics parameters of 2-legs shield powered support, which would lead to bad effect on coal mine safety production if unreasonable. In this paper, the mechanics model of 2-legs shield powered support has been established; the influence of inclined angle and position of leg on the resultant force of the canopy, the canopy resultant force action point, and the load intensity on the front edge of base for 2-legs shield powered support base has been analyzed. The research can provide theory basis and feasible method for reasonable leg arrangement.
