Effect of epoxy resin modified by dendrimer and hyperbranched polymerson on it's mechanical properties

摘要

Polyamidoamine Dendrimer (PAMAM) was used as modifiers in epoxy resins. The mechanical properties were investigated by Instron experimental aircraft; Meanwhile, the rupture of sample was analyzed by scanning electron microscope (SEM). The results show that the modifiers of polyamidoamine dendrimer bring about an improvement on the characteristics of epoxy resins at the same time. Comparing with sample of unmodified epoxy resins, tensile strength and impact energy increases 18% (modified 2.5 G PAMAM) and 96% (2.5 G PAMAM) respectively. The effect of polyamidoamine dendrimer (PAMAM) modified epoxy resins is superior to acrylonitrile-butadiene rubber. The rupture of sample changes from brittleness to elasticity.
