摘要
The wear-resistance performance of CrMnFeCoNi high entropy alloy (HEA) is low due to its ductile behavior. In this study, we investigate high wear-resistant CrMnFeCoNi coatings using cold spray additive manufacturing. Different printing conditions were used to achieve the best wear-resistance properties. The printed samples were tested to study the dry sliding wear behavior. The best cold-sprayed coating was attained at a gas temperature of 750 °C and pressure of 4.5 MPA (T7.5P4.5), which revealed the lower coefficient of friction and higher wear resistance compared to the other cold-sprayed samples and was 40 % higher than the cast and ultra-fined CoCrFeMnNi HEA. TEM revealed nano and elongated grains, numerous deformation twins, and high-density dislocations, which facilitate friction and wear rate reduction.
