摘要

Physical-layer security (PLS) technique protects wireless data transmission against eavesdropping and other security attacks by taking full advantage of link propagation characteristics. It provides an additional level of security, besides the traditional security protocols at the network and transport layers, which is not enough now due to the rapid improvement of computing hashrate and the requirement on low latency. Before the design and application of PLS algorithms, investigations on security threats should be conducted comprehensively. In this chapter, we will present a review of the characteristics of several eavesdropping techniques at the physical layer used in indoor and outdoor terahertz wireless communication systems and hope it can be helpful for future transceiver and protocol designs.
