Dynamic simulation of slipper bearings in axial piston pumps

摘要

In order to predict the dynamic behaviors of slipper bearings in axial piston pumps, a dynamic model based on the lubrication mechanism of the slippers has been presented. The laws of variation in film thickness with rotary speed and piston pressure were obtained. It is shown that hydrodynamic effect caused by the speed has much effect on the film thickness of the slippers. The effect of the centrifugal loads on the attitude of the slippers has also been analyzed. The tilting moment arising from the centrifugal loads always causes the slipper to tilt outwards, and this effect is more pronounced at high speed.
