摘要

Shock compression experiments and simulations were taken to study the dynamic performance of cellular titanium. By using one-stage light-gas gun, titanium samples with porosity of 30% and 20% were studied. The relationship between shock pressure and shock time and some experimental data were obtained. The experiment results show that in the process of shock wave propagating, the peak pressure is decreasing due to the influence of voids in samples. When shock wave propagates through the porous titanium sample, no obvious peak pressure platform appears, but some characteristics correlated with strain appear, including intense attenuation, viscidity and elasticity. Also, a finite element analysis software was used to simulate the plate impact experiments. The simulating results, pressure-time curve and some important parameters, are match well with the experiment results.
