N2 - This paper reviews our recent achievement in terahertz heterodyne receivers based on dual high-temperature superconducting (HTS) Josephson junctions. To predict the receiver performance, we have presented the multiport network interleaving modeling method enabling robust simulation validation for dual-junction based HTS circuit architectures. Also, we have presented the specific designs of several innovative HTS receivers, including the image-reject receiver and balanced ones. Simulation results have shown their superior performance and potential in next-generation wireless communication applications.
