title = "DRFM range false target cancellation method based on slope-varying LFM chirp signal",
abstract = "Range false target created by Digital Radio Frequency Memory (DRFM) repeat jammer is a very common deception jamming in Electronic Counter Measures (ECM). In this paper, a jamming cancellation method based on Slope-Varying Linear Frequency Modulation (LFM) chirp signal is proposed to suppress this kind of jamming signal. In the proposed method, the radar firstly transmits LFM chirp signal with varying slope at each pulse repletion intervals (PRIs). In the following, the jamming signal is reconstructed by using the parameters of range false target, which are estimated from marched-filter output. Finally, DRFM range false target can be cancelled out by subtracting received signal from reconstructed jamming signal. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by simulations.",
