N2 - The explosive ordnance disposal robot (EOD robot) can replace man to reconnoiter, remove and deal with explosives or other dangerous articles in the dangerous environment. We design a large EOD robot which is constituted by the vehicle body, the mechanical hand, the remote control trolley, the vision system, the communications system and other ancillary equipments. The large EOD Robot is proved by experiments that it has strong capacities of obstacle-crossing and article-grasping, it can be used in the wild environment of sand, grass and soft soil, etc.
