Design and simulation of permanent magnet linear generators as fuse physical power supplies

摘要

This paper describes a permanent magnet linear generator (PMLG) that translates mechanical energy into electrical energy as a physical power supply for helicopter airborne submunition fuzes in military applications. The PMLG uses the fuze's third safety environmental force to generate electricity to charged the fuze firing capacitor and self-destruct capacitor. Through simulation validation, a PMLG scheme was finalized with a coil of 300 turns of 0.15 mm diameter enameled copper wire wound with an air gap width of 0.25 mm, which can charge a 22 μF energy storage capacitor to 26.606 V in 0.18 ms, verifying that the PMLG can be used as a power source for helicopter airborne submunition fuzes.
