摘要
As space-borne SAR (Synthetic Aperture Radar) echo data received by the stationary ground equipment through feedback channel have been compressed based on the BAQ (Block Adaptive Quantization) compression algorithm, in the reverse process, decompression should be implemented beforehand. Based on the fact that quantization loss is inevitable, we introduce an improved method, the fixed-point BAQ decompression algorithm and we implement it in XILINX Virtex5 XC5VLX110T FPGA. It proves that SAR echo data can be restored correctly without making sacrifices to the resource utilization, and the whole system can work stably at high clock frequency.
