Cross-Polarization Interference Cancellation in Satellite Communication

摘要

This paper investigates cross-polarization interference cancellation (XPIC) techniques in satellite communication systems. The LMS, DD-LMS, and CMA algorithms are studied for mitigating polarization interference. Simulations are conducted under different environmental conditions, including open and urban environments. Results show that XPIC provides significant performance improvements, with a 5dB gain in bit error rate compared to systems without interference cancellation. The research highlights the relevance of polarization interference cancellation in complex communication environments.
