摘要
Based on the damage and Ottosen failure criterion, a constitutive model is developed to investigate the mechanical behavior of concrete subjected to intense impact loading. Different damage mechanisms such as tensile and compressive damage are considered in this model. Suppose the tensile damage controlled by the tensile strain is caused by micro-cracks opening and stretching, the compressive damage controlled by compressive strain is about the evolution of micro-voids. So the tensile damage and compressive damage are coupling. Experimental results indicate that with the increase of impact velocity, the bearing capacity and plastic deformation of concrete enhance greatly. A comparison between model prediction and experimental results shows that both of them agree well with each other. So the model can be used to simulate the dynamic mechanical behavior of concrete.
