摘要
Conventional complex resonant frequency (CRF) extraction method has some inherent drawbacks, which contain ill-posed problem of equation and noise-sensitivity. In order to overcome these drawbacks, a CRF extraction method based on the Matrix Pencil (MP) is proposed in this paper. In the proposed method, two Hankel matrixes are firstly structured using the later-time transient response. Then a matrix pencil is defined by related Hankel matrixes. Finally, the problem of CRF extraction is transformed to an ordinary eigenvalue problem solved by the SVD. Simulation results of the CRF extraction in free space and homogenous medium demonstrate that the MP method is feasible and can effectively improve CRF extraction performance.
