Comparison of group-buying sales effort between the seller and buyers

    摘要

    In this paper, we extend the research of Jing and Xie (2011). Based on their discussions on the sales effort of the informed buyer under group-buying price mechanism, we consider two situations: (i) the seller solely makes sales effort, and (2) the seller and the informed buyer make sales effort together. We give the optimal strategy of the seller and the buyer, and compare the results with that in Jing and Xie (2011).
