Co-simulation and experiment study on torsional vibration of diesel engine crankshaft system

摘要

The study on torsional vibration of diesel engine crankshaft system was carried out. The sum of relative vibration amplitude vector of the V-type six cylinder diesel engine was derived to determine the main and strong harmonic orders. The crankshaft system dynamics co-simulation model of a V6 diesel engine was built using GT-SUITE software and validated by experimental data. Two engine varying displacement schemes, fuel-off and valve-off were simulated respectively. The results indicate that the torsional vibration angle displacement amplitude is greatly increased after cylinder deactivation, of two schemes the amplitude of valve-off is greater than that of fuel-off.
