CLUTTER SUPPRESSION BASED ON WIENER SMOOTHING IN DISTRIBUTED RADAR WITH MOVING PLATFORMS

摘要

Distributed radar澿 which consists of several radar nodes and a fusion center, was firstly introduced by Lincoln laboratory. By inter-node data processing, the entire system can be equivalent to a big and powerful monostatic radar. Clutter suppression in distributed radar on moving platforms is considered in this paper. A method based on Space-Time Wiener Smoothing is developed to realized reliable target detection, where sequential coherent and non-coherent processes are performed to achieve clutter whitening and inter-node accumulation. By establishing the clutter model, and Monte Carlo simulation, it is verified that the proposed method could suppress the clutter echo well, whose performance is insensitive to synchronization error.
