title = "Breast Cancer Detection Using Synthetic Aperture Radar Imaging and Distorted Born Iterative Method",
abstract = "Breast cancer is a major threatening disease to women's life nowadays. To ensure a surviving chance for the patients, it is quite crucial to detect and treat the breast cancer in the early stage. This article deals with the detection of breast cancer using two different microwave imaging methods. The first method is based on synthetic aperture radar (SAR) qualitative imaging method, and the second is based on inverse scattering quantitative imaging method, which can also reconstruct the relative permittivity for the breast. A two-dimensional simplified breast phantom is used to test both algorithms and the imaging results show that both methods are able to detect the cancer cell with good resolution.",
