摘要
Target tracking is of great importance for applications such as autonomous driving, navigation and traffic control. For the emerging ghost tracking technology, there is an urgent need to design special encoding and decoding mechanisms to extract the target trajectory from single-pixel values. Here, we propose angle-based and distance-based (collectively referred to as azimuthal perception) ghost tracking methods, which can acquire the angles and distances between a target and two fixed reference points at high speed, respectively, to accurately locate and track the fast-moving target in real time. These two methods all require only three patterns for each motion frame modulation. Both numerical simulations and experiments have demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed methods. These approaches provide new solutions and ideas for image-free ghost tracking.
