摘要

The principle of the active laser detection for electro-optic sensor is based on the cat's eye effect of optical system. Distance is one of the most important parameter for active laser detection system. The mathematical model of maximal detection distance is given by the analysis of several factors including the angle of transmit laser beam, CCD sensitivity and atmospheric visibility, which are the main factors affecting the maximal detection distance. The analysis results show that the maximal detection distance increases with the decrease of laser angle and the advance of CCD sensitivity and the enhancement of atmospheric visibility.
