An innovative software testing course based on CDIO

摘要

Software testing is a required course of the software engineering major in Beijing Institute of Technology. In this paper an innovative software testing course based on CDIO is studied and described. This paper covers the objectives, design, organization, and assessment of the software testing course offered to senior undergraduate students in BIT. Project Based Learning (PBL) and Experiential Learning Method (ELM) were used in the course design, and a kind of Peer Evaluation approach was also applied in the course assessment. The work of this paper is a partial achievement of BIT teaching reform project. This course based on CDIO Initiative has been offered twice in BIT, and currently is being taught in the spring 2014 semester.
