An Euler-Lagrange coupling method for numerical simulation of explosion-structure interaction

摘要

To describe the interaction of the explosion field and the structure, a 2-D Euler-Lagrange coupling method was developed to couple a Eulerian code and a Lagrangian code. The Eulerian finite differential code called MMIC(multi-materials in cell) was used to simulate the behavior of the explosion field. And the dynamic finite element code was used to calculate the response of structures. The Euler-Lagrange coupling method was used to simulate the process of deformation and penetration of an explosion-drived fragment. The numerical results indicats that this method has the ability of simulating the problem of explosion-structures interation.
