摘要

The thermoacoustic effect is a complicated occurrence that involves the mutual conversion of sound and thermal energy. Thermoacoustic heat engines built on this effect have numerous benefits including dependability, environmental friendliness, and simplicity of design. However, thermoacoustic effects have a detrimental influence on the effectiveness and dependability of some power systems and cryogenic systems. In addition to introducing the mechanism of thermoacoustic effect and the current state of research, this article reviews in-depth the most recent research on the utilization and suppression of thermoacoustic effect that has been done internationally. Based on the state of the art in the area, this review examines the difficulties that research into the utilization and suppression of the thermoacoustic effect has encountered. It also emphasizes the potential growth and application directions for this area of study.
