A temperature compensation method of high-precision V/F converter

摘要

Through the theoretical analysis of charge balance type V/F converter, the main factors of the V/F converter zero temperature drift and scale factor temperature drift are found out. For zero drift, the principle of selecting components is proposed. The zero temperature drift from -40°C to 60°C of the converter is not greater than 0.5 Hz in the range -200 kHz~200 kHz of the output frequency. For the scale factor temperature drift, a simple temperature compensation circuit is designed. Through the temperature compensation, the average temperature coefficient of the V/F converter scale factor can be controlled within 2×10-6/°C.
