abstract = "In this paper, the driving cycle for electric cars on Beijing urban ways and suburban ways were respectively built. Further, the comprehensive comparison with the world typical driving cycles and in-depth analysis were taken. Firstly, the final driving cycles were obtained by the related data analysis methods after the road experiment by a reasonable scheme. Secondly, the final driving cycles were compared with the European NEDC American FTP75 and Japanese JI0-15 Driving cycles, and were exhaustively analyzed. The result shows the electric cars driving cycle in Beijing has its own characteristics: The mean speed is low, the idle time is rather long, the acceleration and deceleration occurs frequently.",
