abstract = "The present study developed a stochastic model to simulate collision and agglomeration between bipolarly charged particles based on the classical Euler/Lagrange approach. The particle initial charge was sampled from the charge distribution by statistical analysis. Collision was determined by comparison of collision probability and a random number. The effect of particle charge on collision and agglomeration was embodied in the agglomeration criteria. Whether a coagulation event occurs or not was determined by comparison of particle's adhesive and repulsive energy. The effect of collision and agglomeration on the particle charge distribution and diameter distribution were investigated.",
