A stereological fractal cohesive law of concrete under tensiton loading

摘要

A stereological fractal cohesive law for describing the softening behavior of the concrete under quasi-static uniaxial tensile loadings is presented in this contribution, which considers the damage evaluation process of the fracture cross-sections and their distribution along the specimens' axis. By the present model, some numerical results are obtained, with a good agreement with the experimental data published in previous open literature. Moreover, the effects of aggregate gradation on the softening characteristic of concrete are analyzed using the present cohesive model. Results show that under tensile loading, the concrete with homogeneously size-distributed aggregate is more softened.
