abstract = "Absolute counting of total leukocytes within small amounts of whole blood is difficult since there is not a good technique to separate the leukocytes from limited volume of whole blood. In this study a microfluidic device with a micropillar array is proposed to filter the leukocytes. Leukocytes are dyed with two different immunofluorescence reagent and using Histogram of Oriented Gradients (HOG) based feature detector, detected by using Support Vector Machines (SVM).",
