abstract = "A novel frequency-locked multicarrier generator(MCG) by utilizing a dual-electrode Mach-Zehnder modulator (DE-MZM) and a phase modulator has been proposed and analyzed theoretically. The transfer function and output properties of the proposed multicarrier generator have been derived. Simulation results show that the DE-MZM-based MCG has the ability to generate multiple frequency-locked carriers with acceptable flatness.",
