N2 - A novel coded modulation scheme based on the Polar code is proposed, which combines the advantages of both polar code and trellis-coded modulation. Under the same BER, the proposed scheme requires lower SNR, lower coding complexity and can achieve channel capacity closer to tolerance to the Shannon limit.
