This method employs an optimal interpolation function, generated by optimization theory and historical data, to estimate system reliability. In this paper, the method is provided with a detailed explanation and an evaluation with an experiment. The evaluation indicates that the method can build the objective model and estimate the system reliability accurately with the growth of the amount of historical data.",
