A Hybrid Scattering Center Modeling Method for Composite Scene

摘要

This paper presents a novel approach that utilizes SAR images and CAD models to effectively model the scattering centers of composite scenes. The method involves establishing the environmental scattering center using pixel information from existing SAR images and electromagnetic algorithm calibration, while the target scattering center is established based on a CAD model of the target. To assess the accuracy of our method, we conducted simulations of the scattering fields for the Suez Canal and a freighter. The results were then compared with both the measured data and the results obtained through physical optics (PO) simulations, demonstrating a remarkable similarity of above 81.20%.
