abstract = "As a recently developed technique for FDTD algorithm, R-FDTD leads to a memory-efficient formulation, with a direct memory reduction of 33% in the storage of the fields compared to traditional FDTD algorithm. However, R-FDTD is complicated to deal with the regions including conductors and source. In this paper, a method of subregion is used to get rid of such difficulty. The modified R-FDTD can not only inherit the memory-efficient character, but also eliminate the complexity aroused from the existing of source and conductors. Simulation results are compared to those obtained from traditional FDTD and R-FDTD. Good agreement is observed.",
