N2 - In the paper, the linear optical sampling system is studied, and a golden section software synchronization (GSSS) algorithm is proposed to monitor the performance of the signal under test (SUT) and obtain a clear eye diagram. Experiments show that this method produces better results in recovering temporal information. Compared with the chirp-z-transform (CZT) algorithm, the GSSS algorithm reduces the complexity by half, which has a smaller delay and improves the efficiency of real-time monitoring the performance of SUT.
