摘要
A complete domain decomposition method (CDDM) of hybrid finite element-boundary integral (FE-BI) has been proposed for accurately analyzing multiscale and heterogeneous electromagnetic problem recently. In this communication, a cost-effective additive Schwarz preconditioner is proposed to further improve the capability of the CDDM-FEBI for electrically large scattering and radiation problems. This preconditioner is obtained by rarefying the FE-BI submatrix based on the characteristics of boundary integral equation. Numerical experiments demonstrate that the consumption of CPU time and memory for constructing the proposed preconditioner is greatly reduced comparing with the previous one under the premise of ensuring fast convergence.
