摘要

The uplink channel of geostationary earth orbit mobile satellite communication (MSC) systems built with hundreds of spot-beams is essentially a multiple-user single-input multiple-output channel. In this letter, we derive a closed-form upper bound for the MSC ergodic capacity. Simulation results show the tightness of the proposed upper bound in a wide range of signal-to-noise-ratio.
