1 BIT Dual-Band Synchronous Electronically Reconfigurable Transmit-array for Ka-band

摘要

This paper will present a novel dual-band Synchronous Electronically Reconfigurable Transmit-array (DSERTA) for 28/38 GHz mobile application purposes. The active patch has two rings with two anti-parallel diodes are composed on an O-shape patch. Two parasitic rings were etched on active and passive patches to offer dual-band at 28/38 GHz with a synchronous phase shift. The lower band has minimum theoretical insertion losses at 0.94 dB for both states of phase shift. The upper band has minimum theoretical insertion losses at 0.72 dB for both phase shift states of insertion losses. Insertion losses are symmetrical for both bands to consume max bandwidth for mobile applications.
