N2 - Trans-medium aircraft can achieve repeated movement in different media based on its special sliding plate structure. To investigate the influence of sliding plate parameters on skipping performance, in this paper, a standard k-ε turbulence model and an overlapping grid technology were used to perform numerical calculations on the skipping process of aircraft near water surface with different sliding plate inclinations and configurations. The results show that when arranging the sliding plate angle around 10°, the aircraft can get the best skipping performance and the highest stable skipping times. Analyzing the different sliding plate configurations, the results show that rectangular sliding plate can make for the aircraft to obtain the largest impact load, which is beneficial for skipping, but can easily damage sliding plate. In contrast, the V-shaped curved sliding plate not only shows excellent hydrodynamic performance but also is fit for a moderate load, being the most suitable design requirement for aircraft sliding plates in actual engineering.
