摘要
In this paper based on the Florence model, a modified model has been presented for penetration of deformable projectiles into ceramic-metal targets. By considering flattening of projectile,the deformation energy could be calculated by modified Taylor theory. The ballistic limit velocity of projectile predicted by new analytical model has a good agreement with the experimental results. Based on the Florence's model, the influence of the plate thickness on ballistic limit velocity was analyzed.
