摘要
In order to compare the influence of different matrices on the rheological properties of melt-cast explosive suspension, the rheological properties of the matrices and their suspensions were measured by Haake Mars m rheometer. The effects of the matrix type, shear rate, system temperature, solid content and particle size on the rheological properties of the suspension were analyzed. The results show that all the three molten matrices are Newtonian fluids but their suspensions are of the properties of shear thinning. When the system temperature is between 95 °C and 110 °C , the variation of the viscosity for the molten matrices is less than 12% . Under the same temperature, the apparent viscosities of the matrices and their suspensions show as follows: DNP>TNT>DNAN. When the diameter ratio of cyclotetramethylenetetranitramine (HMX) particles is about 7 and the mass ratio is 2, the apparent viscosities of the three matrices suspensions are the lowest. The Krieger-Dougherty relation was used to match the relation between relative viscosity and relative solid content. The results indicate that the model is suitable for all three matrices, where the matching index is negatively correlated with shear rate and the viscosity of the matrices.
