博士生导师，提出并证明了被称为“Guo-Sun numerical optimization (GSNO) method”的最优反馈控制求解算法的收敛性，在《IEEE Transactions on Automatic Control》等上发表论文45篇。主持完成国家自然科学基金面上项目、青年基金项目各一项，北京市优秀人才培养资助项目等多项科研项目。是国家自然科学基金委员会等多个评审平台的评审专家。更多内容请参见个人英文主页：https://sunamss.github.io/
