Abstract

Separation of variables method is used and the field expression of both the cylindrical waveguide and the coaxial-line are obtained in the time-varying media. It is clearly shown that both the amplitude and frequency of the waves change with time in time-varying media. The phase constant and the phase velocity that vary with time have also been derived.
