Abstract
A new method for velocity determination at the radiated moving target is presented based on bistatic Doppler radar system. By analyzing Doppler difference frequency information caused by the ubiety and the relative velocity, equations for velocity determination are established. Then the precision relationship among velocity determination, frequency determination and angle determination is analyzed by several groups of practical parameters. Simulation results show that the precision of the velocity determination is improved in a large area of the azimuth, and the method is insensitive to the precisions of frequency and angle determinations.
