Abstract

With numerical simulation, reasons of technical dispersion for long-range rockets resulting from various factors of disturbance are analyzed. The disturbances are mainly due to trajectory wind, mass misalignment, thrust misalignment, disturbance at launch, etc. It is pointed out that dispersion results mainly from the power-flight phase, especially from the direction dispersion of the velocity vector at the end of the power-flight phase. Based on this, an unsophisticated control method is proposed to reduce the technical dispersion and to improve the density of delivery. The reducing of the direction dispersion of velocity vector is realized through the stabilization of attitude of the rocket at the power-flight phase directly. The method is simple in its system configuration, convenient for use and easy to realize.
