Abstract

Electromagnetic Pulse Simulator (EMP) is a experimental equipment for testing interference ability of electronic device. In this paper, Digital Signal Processor (DSP) has been used to control time sequence of Electromagnetic Pulse Simulator, the equipment can generate five continuous pulses within work space of EMP, the parameters of time interval, pulse amplitude can be adjusted for various application purpose. By the way of reasonable design, such as the switch ,the input button, the visual state of LED and so on. The design of time sequence control for spring setting realizes the continuity of electromagnetic radiation. All these advancements will be a good complementary to the traditional EMP which works by manual control.
