Abstract

The threshold effect is investigated for nonlinear estimators under the parametric polynomial phase signal model. The threshold probability is defined and its explicit form is given under some restrictions. Also the threshold signal-to-noise ratio corresponding to a prescribed threshold probability is derived for practical considerations.
