Abstract

The rigidity of moving container that is an important component for Mg die-casting machine has a remarkable effect on the precision of the product. The mechanical properties of utmost load of moving container for 30000 kN die-casting machine from a plant in the China were analyzed by FEM. The simulated results of displacement and stress field of different designed plans were compared. Some pieces suggestion to corresponding production were given based on the analysis of designed plans according to the simulated results. The results indicated that the lightening hole has some effects on the rigidity of the moving container. The existent design has some limitation, in which the hinge bracket has a smaller loading area.
